There is nothing more frustrating than having writers block. It has caused some authors to never finish a book, or miss a deadline costing a lot of money. I know I have writers block from time to time and I just stare at my computer screen hoping my brain will kick into gear. Well, I have some tips here that are sure to help you if you find yourself in this situation:
- Write whatever you are thinking about at that moment in time. It doesn’t matter how silly or irrelevant it seems. This will stir up some activity and get your mind and hands working, some quality writing will start to follow.
- Forget the project your working on for an hour or so and start something else. Maybe start a blog, then you can write about anything in your life, even the fact that you have writers block. This will get your writing back on track.
- Read some of your previous articles you have written. This will help get you into writing mode within your brain and then increase the chance of stimulating you to type out some work. It’s a form of repetition, reminding you how you write and how it came about last time.
Good luck and I hope this helps some of you creative writers out there.
