We always try to make our life as peaceful as much as we can. Because having such would surely make things easier for us –towards our relationships with our family and friends and towards work. However, no matter how hard we make ourselves to be the best in what we do, still, some people will find us otherwise. We may want to please people because we are proud of our achievements. But not all could feel the same way for us. So what do some people end up when they feel being discouraged? Relationships are affected; the ability to work gets affected as well.
A lot of people find it difficult to find happiness. Why? It is because some would be looking for the most impossible things that can happen to them simply because they compare themselves with other people’s lives. To be able to be happy is to be able to accept what is given to him. A question may arise: “How long should we take in all the bad things that happen to us and ignore that it is affecting our sanity?” There is such thing as man’s limitation.
Then Peter came up and said to him, “Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?” Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.
But how can we be able to do this? Learn to let go of the pains that people have cause you and focused on becoming a better person. These people who have walked over you need not be the reason of your falling out of your goal. But rather, let these people be the reason for you to strive more and to do more.
You may have all the riches in the world, but there is nothing compared to a person who has a peaceful heart and mind. We can be able to satisfy our worldly needs with just probably a click but what really matters is being able to know how to love, respect, understand and be filled with compassion and empathy. These are oftentimes neglected by people because they have been enveloped with all their wants without realizing that their needs are more than a new house and a car but rather a clean and pure heart living a just simple life.
Nothing is gained overnight. You need to work hard in order to achieve your goal. You would often find yourself stopping and re-thinking if what you wanted to achieve is something that you really need. Instead of getting disheartened and unmotivated, struggle to get pass through whatever may be crossing your path and is preventing you to reach the top. Remember that the cross that you carry today will be the staff that will aid you in taking those small steps to huge leaps.
