Riding a bicycle is one the most effective workouts you can do which will save money and burn calories at the same time; If you cycle at least 10 miles a day, you can easily burn over 500 calories.
Try cycling to and from work every day for a week and see the difference afterwards, apart from having bigger thighs and a whole week’s bus fare still in your pocket, you will notice you can sleep better.
By cycling daily, you are working out your calves, quadriceps, glutes, abdominal muscles, and upper muscles such as your triceps and shoulders, your breathing becomes better, and your heart will appreciate that; your overall body will feel nicely toned.At some point during your ride or workout try pedaling while standing up going up a hill, this will give your legs the workout it needs.
Try to find a long stretch of road that you can cycle down at least 20-30 minutes without stopping and make that your regular cycle route or workout location or whatever you decide to call it; just claim it and make it yours.
Bicycles can be purchased from almost anywhere, your local bike shop, supermarket, and online. I would recommend you to buy your bike from a bike store in the event something goes wrong you can take it back and have it repaired.
