Is public relations applicable in online writing/keeping a blogsite to increase views?
I had observed that when I am inactive in commenting on posts in different sites, I got less views. The same is true when I am not posting articles, online friends forget you, thinking you are no longer active online.
Take for example in a site where I let my account be idle, meaning, I left it for months, since early December not posting anything. Though my earnings there grew cents by trickles, because that site earns much, I noticed the slow earning compared when I was actively reacting to posts of my friends. Though I did not share it in other social networking sites, my earnings grew so fast there due to internal traffic.
This was the advise of a more expert online writer. She has her own blogsite, so she made it a point to be active in other sites, like often posting and commenting on posts of different members. So she earned a lot of following, and her views in her own website rapidly increased.
To be an online writer, a blogsite owner needs a lot of patience, for one to earn later. The underlining factor therefore is being friendly, being visible, and using creative public relations/ or online relations to increase views. It is just like a give and take process. Because if they know that you are reading and commenting on their posts, other members would reciprocate your efforts.
Once they saw your post, they would instantly read and comment on it to let you know they read your post. This is a very fulfilling thing for an online writer, to have loyal followers of blogs/posts. But of course, to have more viewers, one needs to post quality articles, or articles that are so informative, or with humor, that anybody would love to read.
