How To Make It Through College.

Tips to achieve it.

No matter what your situation is:

  1. You do it to please your parents.
  2. You want the title to not feel like a loser.
  3. You really want to be a professional.

Or whatever the reason is, if you want to reach the end of a college career, the truth is: college is difficult.

To give you the pass to that title teachers are going to really make you sweat, they’re going to make it difficult, and many students abandon the attempt before succeeding. Even you may have already felt the desperation and desire to leave, the frustration that some subjects are very hard to pass, the anger with some teachers.

But be calm, this process will end some day, you just have to hold on a little, move forward step by step, and the day when you say goodbye to tasks, exhibitions, tests and teachers will finally come.

Here I have some tips that helped me to go all the way in this process through the different classrooms to earn a college degree.

  • Choose a career that you REALLY like.

Better choose something worth fighting, something that really motivates you.

  • Make a chart of your progress.

  • Do not let your grades define you.

Live for today, enjoy it, enjoy your friends, be friends with your teachers, and do not worry so much about your grades.

In my case, I did the best I could and I used to look all my friends asking the teachers about their grades, I never asked what my grades were, and at the graduation; surprise! It turned out that I had one of the best grades of that generation.

  • Friends that encourage you to succeed.

It helps wake up every morning knowing that you along with your friends are looking for the same purpose, and at the end you’re left with relationships that will last a lifetime (remember stories after many years is the best).

  • Promise it to someone.

This also provides a huge personal satisfaction, when that day finally comes and you tell to that person “I did, and it was because of you” is a moment you will never forget and cherish in your heart for the rest of your life.

Best wishes!

  1. A good tips specially formulated to all aspiring college students. Being a college students several years ago, the thoughts of the message are beneficial to the students who wants a bright future. Thanks

  2. I never thought I will finish my college.. LOL. I was a working student back then. but you are right, one has to finish a college degree.

  3. Great points! I totally agree with the point about not letting the grades define us. My brother is a great example of this. He wasn’t a straight A student in school (in fact his grades were pretty bad!) but improved a lot in his college years and eventually got a great promising career.
