We have all read and heard about all the benefits of honey and cinnamon. There is one theory I tried and tested and it does work. I read how it could help cure and prevent colds and cough. Last year my daughter and I were coughing bad and it seemed like no antibiotic or cough syrup or cough medicine helped. So I tried it. I took 2 tablespoon (because 2 of us were going to take it) of honey and placed in a small bowl, I warmed it up in the microwave for just a few seconds. Then I mixed 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon powder. Then we both took 1 tablespoon each of the mixture every morning. We did not drink ay fluid right after. Just lukewarm water if needed. We tried it for 3 days as instructed and our cough became milder and easier. I also noticed that our body was flushing out the phlegm. I stopped it for 3 days to rest then took it again for another 3 days so our cough would go away, and it did. It also worked on my mom who has a chronic cough. She won’t take anything liquid but this she took and it helped.
It is cheaper, healthier and tastes good. A natural remedy. Also to help improve your immune system place 1 tablespoon of honey and 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon in 1/4 glass of warm water and drink. This can also help you loose weight. Wish I remembered about this in the last contest, hehe. Always take the honey and cinnamon and the warm water mixture in the morning before eating.
