Okay, it’s been years since I had “one too many” but I remember the days when I did it every night. I also remember what my poor skin felt like the next day. Hangovers hurt!
Let me tell you what it felt like when I drank too much alcohol.
It felt like the moisture vampire had sucked it all out of my body – the moisture, that is.
My head hurt or was at best, fuzzy.
My eyes were puffy.
My skin was red and blotchy.
The number one best way to start feeling (and looking) better fast, is to re-hydrate your body. Alcohol makes you pee. Hence, you lose more of your body’s water than you are putting in. Unless you actually do drink water while you are drinking alcohol, you’ll want to start drinking loads of it as soon as you wake up the next day.
Keep a water bottle with you and actually drink it all day. Flavor it if you have to, but drink water and you should start feeling better soon.
