Finding a Content site for Your Writing Style

There are many different content sites on the internet that you can make money writing at. But sometimes you have to pick and choose according to your writing style. Some are better for a blogging style of writing, and some are better for different types of articles. You have to research each site to find your best fit.

I prefer more casual content sites like Bubblews or sites with a variety of styles, like Hubpages. I try to avoid sites that are too picky like Yahoo Voices, although I do post poetry and some opinion articles there. I also avoid sites where news or celebrity articles are expected.

Some people can easily change their writing style for different venues. I have trouble with that, so I have to shop around for sites that are a good fit for me. I don’t like sites where there’s too much moderation and pickiness. I like a freer reign on what I write about and how I write. There are hundred of sites that pay for your content, so it should be relatively easy to find something that will fit your needs.

  1. There are a lot of writers who doesn’t have that much knowledge on how to really write like those great writers coz these great writers may have studied more about how to really write articles with a big boom! I consider myself as an amateur so I basically join sites which does not have too much restrictions as well.

    • I agree to you @jenny1015:disqus .I too prefer the sites where there is no much restrictions and those which consider their employees and pay them on time to meet their both ends.

      • I love to write. But it would make me feel great that people really get to read what I post and at the same time have a community that could push me further to become better as a writer.

    • @jenny1015:disqus I’ve met really fascinating writers in sites that do not have strict rules. Many are actually good writers with so much to share.

  2. I join legitimate sites. If the site is not paying because of too many questionable and confusing rules I just quit. I don’t like to make the owner of the site richer by penny.

    • You are right friend. Some of the sites do not pay on time and are least bothered about their employees welfare, which disappoints them.

      • Yes, I was disappointed with a site that owes a lot of money to a lot of members. they are charging each member of different penalty because of not complying with the hazy rules. too bad tsk tsk tsk.. Karma!

    • That’s right. there are many scams out there and we should be very wary of the sites we join. When I found D2D, I knew that I was in good hands.

        • we have our own bad experiences with different sites and I’m pretty sure D2D would not let its member experience the bad things we have experienced. I’m glad you found your way here.

  3. It is true my friend. We have to make our choice as per our writing style and interest. The sites that give freedom to writers are always the most preferred sites as free flow of ideas can only come in where there is no one to restrict you or act as your supervisor.

    • The right site will help us express ourselves better. Likewise, I’ve noticed that even the quality of interactions between members through the comments is a huge factor.
