The Scenario: staring at a blank wall…probably trying to count the number of nails or counting the ants passing by
The Goal: to be able to earn something to help the family in the least way possible
The Reality: it is hard to achieve a goal with such a negative attitude
The Solution: CLEAR YOUR THOUGHTS AND BEGIN TO SEARCH THE MOST APPROPRIATE JOB THAT YOU CAN HANDLE
The very common would be to search through the local dailies using the classified ads section and find a job that probably fits your skills, experience or educational background.
It might be tiring to be going to different offices to find the right job with the right salary that you wanted, but at this time, sometimes, choosing the job that you might want can no longer be an option as there are a lot of people applying for the same post. And it is always the people from the best schools that are given the high-paying jobs. Well, that is a least how I was told.
The saying that goes, “Beggars should not be choosy”. Whatever work is offered to you, GRAB IT! If you are too slow to decide, someone will just take it without having second thoughts when offered.
The most common jobs being applied for are call center agents, mall agents/marketers and the like.
There are a lot of online jobs that has been proliferating over the years. The most common would be as virtual assistants, article/content writers and web designers. The competitions may also be stiff and sometimes, the knowledge or skill we have may not be enough to land us a good online job. It is with the rate that employers offer. There are certain nationalities that would offer their services in as little as $0.50/hour! Can you imagine just how small that would be in a day if you were required to work part-time? A whole month’s earnings won’t be even enough to pay our internet connection in a month! And if this is what we are given, we should not stop in seeking for other means of earning online.
The Realization: No matter how small the salary we are offered, we should be able to accept it as it would add up to our experience and eventually lead us to better jobs in the future. There should be no room for dilly-dallying. We all need to work not because we have to help our families or so that we are able to buy the things that we want. But more than that is having SELF-WORTH.
