Life is not all about you. People around you, no matter how close you are to your friends, have lives of their own. Would you feel jealous if you find out that your friend went to the mall with another person? I mean, we have the freedom of choice. You should not be obsessed with the fact that your friend can only be you all the time.
You may belong to a huge group of friends. You may seem too vocal with the things that you want to do or to places you wanted to go. But that doesn’t mean that you are the boss of the group. Being with that company of friends, you should realize that all has an equal stand. No one should be above anyone.
You may be having fun joking around. But never make fun at the expense of others that it can start a fight between you and your friend. Hold on to being offensive and sarcastic. Your friends may laugh at your jokes one time, but if done too often, you might just one day found out that no one would want to be around you anymore.
Do you take advantage of people who readily helps you all the time without them being asked? And how do you take it? Do you tell them that it’s okay not to bother sometimes or you are just too happy to accept all the help even if you can do them on your own? Well, if you happen to be a parasite, thinking only of what you can gain from other people, think again.
Your wife works her butt off trying to help you with the family’s finances. But instead of you acknowledging the time she spends jiggling between her career and family, you tell her that she is probably just not doing that good in helping you out. Come on! Who would want to be pulled in a tug of war of responsibilities? The least you could do is to give her a hug and thank her for making things better for your family.
It is actually not that hard to be a good person. Just visualize yourself how people would treat you differently if you always show kindness and love.
