Animated GIF Ideas From A Silly Person

I have already given tips before on how to make animated GIFs like the ones on this article. If you’re interested in making one but don’t know where to start, you can read this tip: How To Make A Moving Animated GIF

Anyway, as you can probably guess from that tip, I’m a bit addicted to making GIFs. That’s why I decided to make another tip. This one will just be a series of ideas for making GIFs. Hopefully, you’ll find these fun. 🙂

• Making GIFs may sound tedious, but I suggest you give it a try anyway. You never know, you might just like it. Plus it’s so much fun to see the finished product, like this little hypnotizing dude:

• Start with something simple. Sometimes making things appear is fun enough already. Just like this little spider on a spiderweb GIF of mine:

• You can make GIFs even from abstract colors:

• Or a simple heart (if you want to know how to make this one, I wrote a tip here: How To Make A Beating Heart Animated GIF )

• The heart doesn’t even have to be beating if you don’t want to:

• You can even take inspiration from mundane things, like the rain getting the laundry wet (with extra thunder, because, well, why not?):

• Oh and if you’re really not in the mood to draw, you can always edit an already available image. Just make sure you’re allowed to use the photo though. And don’t forget to site the original source too. Like this:
