It may sound to be a lucrative means to earn lots of money, but the reality is, app developers don’t often win in this kind of competition. You can see by looking through the Apps Store or Google Play that there are a lot of free apps available for the users. So, how could these small town app developers compete with those giants?
If you scrutinize each of the apps available, it seems that most of the free apps are enough to sustain the user’s satisfaction. Imagine how a young apps developer would have spent his long hours creating a wonderful app hoping to have millions in return But sadly, some would have only earned probably less than $30,000.00 and then call it quits and then hit back home.
It is not that easy to develop an app…the time and money that you might spend just to make it perfect. You make your night time into daytime just to make sure that you have covered each possible flaw that can occur. But after getting them into the market, you get frustrated that even if you have made a great concept for the app, still the free apps available are getting more attention.
If you are an app developer, would you be discouraged by this? Or would you still challenge yourself to make a real, great app and hope that you can be the next Steve Jobs?

Indeed, anybody young and enthusiast app developer can become Steve, but it needs a lot of knowledge about their subject.
Hello Jenny! I guess most of us know about Flappy bird, actually that app is not the best of all. The graphics is not excellent like many other apps out there, though it’s free but Nguyen is making a lot of money from it. This is the essence, there are many simple apps and people download it, because it captures there interest, there are also great apps out there, but only geeky feel fit to play or use them. We have to remember that most of us, who have tablets, smartphones, iphones or android phones love a friendly apps. The simpler, the friendlier, the better. Have you played “Dot” as well?
I haven’t been playing that much recently as I mostly concentrate on doing online marketing for both D2D and Via Express.
It’s a great idea to learn how to create an app. There are many tutorials and programs out there. The only hurdle is creating one that is interesting enough for the users.
Exactly! And when you check on the apps available, you won’t even know what else could be more exciting for the people to play with,
That’s the challenge. It’s getting that one in a million idea and then making it work for you.
I’d just stick with writing. My life is crazy enough.
