1. Eat wisely
Avoid fast food joints as much as possible. Try making simple dishes at home with the available ingredients. Also, try to avoid extravagant sauces or salts in food which may enhance the taste but is not good for the body. It also saves money.
2. Plan a timetable to exercise daily
Exercises are a must for a healthy body and mind. You can do exercises right at home. Just do aerobics or dance by following instructions given by trained personnel whose shows are telecast on the TV.
3. Sleep at the same time daily
Sleep is very important for health. Sleep provides the rest our body needs. One should remember to stay calm before going to sleep. Stop working at least half an hour before going to sleep and listen to music or read a book.
4. Take extra care of teeth and feet
Most people do not bother about having dental checkups. Our teeth do play a vital role in our health. As does our feet. The feet should also be cleaned daily before going to sleep.
5. Practice meditation and yoga to stay healthy both in body and mind
Finger yoga or yoga mudra can be practiced by even those who have physical disabilities.
