Who wouldn’t know about the very famous white sand beach being boasted by the Aklanons in Malay, Aklan, Boracay? It has been the forefront tourist destination for the past several years. Despite having some news regarding how some resort owners that have violated the jurisdiction from where their properties should really begin from the beach itself, foreigners and Filipinos alike still flock to those pristine beaches and enjoy their vacation swimming in the clean, clear, blue waters. Scuba diving, parasailing and snorkeling are just a few of the fun activities that one would definitely enjoy about on this island during the day.
The finest tropical resorts and hotels would be topping one another with the best amenities that they can offer. Aside from the welcome drinks that they usually serve, each hotel would be coming up with different gigs at night showcasing local artists and DJs from other countries. The nightlife is something that no one should miss. Party all night until the early morning of the following day, loads of drink, non-stop dancing of people almost all would be wearing their best beach getup. You may even notice some who might be wearing, well, skimpy bathing suits. Being a Filipina, although I was not born in the 40’s, I still feel that there is a need to a little more reservation. But then it’s their choice. What matters is that we enjoy our stay, have fun and make memories that we would surely keep all our lives.
There are a lot of very famous resorts that are probably half full with their accommodations by now: Crown Regency Hotel, La Carmela de Boracay and Pearl of the Orient, just to name a few. These are the places where bookings are made as early as three months before summer vacation to ensure that they would have a place to stay. Resorts on Stations 1 and 2 are the most popular ones, though.
Wouldn’t you feel like jumping into the plane right now and feel the heat of the Island and be one with nature? Fun, Fun, Fun in the Philippines!
